"This harness helps me control my heavy bull terrier. They are stocky, and pull even when their not trying to. So, this harness fits and is cute and gets the job done."

"This is the 3rd harness I have purchased from Furlongs, and I am happy to say this is one GREAT harness!! I have a German Shepard/Husky mix and she is 18 months old. Great house dog but turns into a "holy terror" when the leash goes on and we go outside. She is not only a "puller" but she jumps, twists, and goes backward to get rid of her collar. A REAL problem - or was. I live out of town and have a large yard but I live on a busy highway, so, at this stage, she must remain on a leash when outside. I have her on a 26 ft. retractable lead so she can get some exercise, which has added to the lunging/pulling problem up to now.
Since I have put this harness on her she is a changed dog - sure - she still pulls a very little bit but nothing like before. She has only tried her jump and spin around tactic a couple of times and has discovered this does NOT work - this harness is escape proof - THANK GOODNESS!
And, to top it off, its easy to put on and take off!!

"This harness is a great purchase for any dog owner, even if your dog doesn't pull when you walk them, it is attractive and much more convienent for the owner to grab onto if needed. Plus when I walk my dog, he can't slip out, pulls less and the whole experience is so much more enjoyable!"

"The perfect fit adjustable harness lives up to its name...perfectly!
There are a couple of really durable plastic sizers that allow you to custom fit the harness in both the chest and abdominal areas, and the basic design is secure enough that you don't need to worry about your dog wriggling out of the harness.
They are IN there securely! Think of it like a four-point safety harness for your dog!
The basic design is awesome, because it gives you COMPLETE control over your dog, while avoiding neck or spinal injury potential associated with most neck collars.
The force that they generate if they pull is concentrated around their chest and shoulders instead of at their throat, and the double stitched D-ring attachment is located between their shoulder blades. A quick tug on the D-ring gives either verbal comand reinforcement or directional correction in a very safe and humane manner, making it an awesome training device, as well.
The construction materials are durable, and the plastic held up under limited puppy-chewing, and we had one harness for the Husky mix for her entire life - they are built to last! Keep 'em away from chewing it outright, and they'll last a good long time! We've tried several harness styles, and the Hamilton one works the best for us. We've had four energetic Cocker Spaniels and one strong/fast Husky/Collie mix over the years, and they all LOVED these harnesses. (Or maybe they just loved the idea that the harness meant a WALK....but WE loved these harnesses, for sure!)
